Comprehensive diagnostics is the mandatory first step before orthodontic treatment: CBCT, a photo protocol, impressions and model analysis. The orthodontist analyses the position of each tooth, the jaw relationship, the joints and the facial profile, and performs a cephalometric analysis. From this we build a detailed plan with a visualised result and present it on a large screen in a dedicated room. The plan includes the choice of appliance, duration, stages and full cost - with no hidden fees.

Usually 60–90 minutes to collect data; the plan is presented at a separate meeting.
