We stop caries at the white spot stage - without a drill.

A modern and painless method of treating initial caries without drilling. Ideal for teeth with stains, lesions that can be treated without preparation. A special infiltrate stops the development of caries and restores the aesthetics of the enamel. The number of teeth and the method of treatment are determined during a preliminary consultation.

When to come

  • White or light brown spot on the tooth.
  • After braces removal - if there are white spots from decalcification.
  • Initial caries without cavity formation detected during the examination.
  • Caries in the interdental space at an early stage, visible on X-ray.

What's included

Diagnosis of the lesion

We examine the tooth and take an X-ray if necessary. We determine whether ICON is suitable - the method works until the dentin is damaged.

Isolation of the tooth

Put on the cofferdam. The working field must be dry - this is a condition for the infiltrate to penetrate the enamel micropores.

Surface preparation

We apply a gel that opens micropores in the affected area. We do not use a drill.

Application of the infiltrate

The liquid material penetrates deep into the affected enamel and fills it. Under an ultraviolet lamp, it hardens in seconds.

Polishing

We polish the surface to the natural appearance of the tooth. After the procedure, the stain on the enamel becomes invisible.

Control visit

After six months, we invite you for an inspection to check the result and take new photos to compare with the original condition.
