When to come

  • Once every six months - for children with a low risk of caries.
  • Once every three months - on the recommendation of a doctor (braces, plates, high susceptibility to caries).
  • Before starting orthodontic treatment.
  • Pigmentation or bleeding of the gums appeared.
  • Before scheduled caries treatment.

What's included

Hygiene review and assessment

We examine the teeth, gums, and enamel condition. We determine which cleaning methods are needed for this child. In case of active caries, we start with treatment, then hygiene.

AirFlow

A jet of water, air and fine powder removes pigmentation from food and soft plaque. Works where a brush cannot reach - in the interdental spaces and near the gums. Does not injure the enamel.

Ultrasonic cleaning - if necessary

Removes hard tartar. We prescribe it only if it is present. It is a rare procedure for milk teeth.

Polishing

Polish the surface with a soft brush with a professional paste. Smooth enamel collects less plaque in the first days after the procedure.

Fluoridation

Apply fluoride varnish or gel with a high concentration of fluoride. The enamel becomes more resistant to acids and slows down the development of early lesions.
